This area of the application screen contains all the information related to the STANDARD and TRIAL colors.
The area is clearly divided in logical sections: the STANDARD area is located on the left and the TRIAL area on the right.
The Delta values are displayed on the right side of the TRIAL area.
In general terms each color is characterized by its date, time, batch/code, notes and color data.
The entry fields for the STANDARD and for TRIAL are used to associate a relevant information to each color. Text introduced in these fields is permanently stored each time the related save button is pressed.
Buttons

Creates a new, empty ColorQ3 file.

Opens an existing ColorQ3 file.

This selection saves all the changes introduced during the current working session in the active file.
If no standard file is currently opened, the user will be asked to select a new file.

Starts the measure of a color sample. Sends the measuring command directly to the selected instrument.

Allows to measure multiple times a color in order to average different measuring spots.
|
|
|
Retrieves color data from any compatible ColorQ3 file.
|
|
|
Insert manually and convert color values to different color spaces and standards.
|
|
|
Starts the calibration process for the connected measuring instrument.

Clicking on one of the listed color spaces will generate a new graphic representation of the selected color space and colors.
