This selection saves all the changes introduced during the current working session in the active file.
During normal operation the changes introduced by the operator are limited to the running application memory. Only when this function is selected the changed data is physically updated in the active file.
The active file, where changes will be saved, is clearly indicated in the application title banner.
If no standard file is currently opened, the user will be asked to select a new file.
